Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 Visit the forts in Jaisalmer
Arrive in Jaisalmer and then drive to your hotel and check into your accommodation. Take rest and after a magnificent buffet breakfast, visit the historic Jaisalmer Fort, also known as Sonar Qila. It is an amazing area to explore because it is one of India’s only living forts. Explore the architecture created with golden sandstones. Discover the fascinating Rajput tales as you visit the museum of the fort where you can find the paintings, sculptures and artifacts. Spiritually relax in the old Jain temples within the fort and then go shopping in the marketplace. Go to Patwon Ki Haveli and Salim Singh Ki Haveli, and you will be shocked with their intricate designs, Jharokhas and paintings.
Have lunch in the local cafe and experience a cultural phenomenon at the palace that has live music, puppetry and folk shows. Once you are through with an exquisite and royal lunch, go back to your hotel and relax.
Day 2 A Royal day at Suryagarth Palace
check in to one of the Royal heritage resorts that is Suryagarh Palace. You will be welcomed with a Rajasthani Aarti, a garland and a welcome drink. Day 3 Exploring the temples and Markets
Wake up early in the morning, take your breakfast and prepare to visit the various temples that Jaisalmer has to offer. Reach Tanot Mata Temple that is located close to the India Pakistan border. Learn about the rich and complicated architecture of the temple and participate in the rituals. Go to the Pansari Bazar the oldest market in Jaisalmer and browse through the colorful market. You can shop for local handicrafts and other man made showpieces. If you want to buy beautiful gold and silver jewellery then visit Sonaron Ka Baas which is known for its ornaments.
Day 4 Explore Sam Sand Dunes
As you get ready for the desert and camping vacation, start early in the morning and have breakfast. Take the Royal SUV, which is close to Jaisalmer, to Sam Sand Dunes. Your thrilling camping adventure greets you when you arrive at Sam Sand Dunes. Set up own opulent campgrounds, complete with air conditioning, vintage furnishings, and a comfortable arrangement.
