Day 1: Arrival in Jaisalmer – Watch the Fort, Havelis and Lake Views

After breakfast, check out of your hotel and start an exciting journey of the Sam sand tibba located about 40 kilometers from Jaisalmer. On the way, stop by the ghostly Sundar Kuldhara village, an abandoned township that asked to be cursed and mysteriously emptied overnight in the 1800s. Continue your drive in the desert until you arrive in Sam, where endless golden sand mounds spread to the horizon. On arrival, visit the royal Pokharan Fort, also known as a red sandstone built in the 14th century, which serves as the abode of local Rathore kings. The fort has a Royal Hall, Jharokh, and a small museum that displays old weapons, paintings and cultural artifacts. If the time is allowed, you can detect nearby temples and local markets that reflect Pokharan’s spiritual and rural attraction. Day 4: Longwala and Tanot Mata visit – departure from Jaisalmer

After an early breakfast, an exciting all-day tour for Longwala and Tanot Mata Temple located near the India-Pakistan border and is about 120 km from Jaisalmer. Your first stop is Tanot Mata Temple, a revered temple believed that Indian soldiers were miraculously protected during the 1965 and 1971 wars. The legend and serene setting of the temple makes it spiritually rich. From there, proceed to the Longwala War Memorial, where you can detect the 1971 Indo-Pak war battlefield and see a small museum describing the brave defense by the original tanks, military bunkers and Indian soldiers.
