4 Nights 5 Days Golden Triangle Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival Delhi
Your tour will start by arrival in India, at her capital city, Delhi. When you get there, you will be taken to your hotel to rest and check in. Then, proceed to sight seeing by visiting Red Fort, a Mughal fortress of grandeur known by the red sandstone walls and historical importance. Then ride to see Raj Ghat, the peaceful monument of Mahatma Gandhi and past drive past India Gate, the well-known war memorial and the house of the President of India (Rashtrapathi Bhavan). The Lotus Temple is another architecturally interesting structure with a relaxing atmosphere, and it is perfect to end a day. Delhi is the place of overnight stay.
Day 2- Sightseeing in Delhi
Discover the best places in Delhi the second day. Ease bookmark Qutub Minar, which is the tallest brick minaret in the world and is beautifully carved along with historic significance. See the absolutely gorgeous garden tomb, the Humayun Tomb, which was a predecessor of Taj Mahal. Visit Jama Masjid, one of the largest mosques in India and take a walk in the Chandni Chowk market in Delhi where you will get to try the local customer made food and buy souvenirs. Enter your hotel in the evening to spend the night in Delhi.
Day 3 – Delhi to Agra
Start your day over breakfast, and head towards Agra on the Yamuna Expressway which is approximately 3.5 to 4-hour drive. Agra houses the Taj Mahal, one of the world wonders, the Seven Wonders of the World. Go early in the morning in order to see the white marble in soft light during the sun rise. Read the romantic legend of how it was built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. Visit Agra Fort, a huge red sandstone fortified palace complex of palaces, mosques, and gardens reflecting Mughal architecture, after the Taj Mahal. Assuming time is not a factor, visit Mehtab Bagh, a garden situated on the other bank of the Yamuna River, a scenic location of viewing the Taj mahal. In the evening, get to your hotel and rest. Agra is the place of stay overnight.
Day 4: Agra to Jaipur
Exit after breakfast to Jaipur aka Pink City, around 4 to 5 hours by road. You will arrive and check into your hotel, where you will freshen up. Start your tour with Amber Fort which is a hilltop fort with scenic views of the courtyards, palaces and mirror work. See City Palace, a huge palace compound containing museums, royal halls and courtyards that evokes Jaipur royal heritage. Pull up at the Hawa Mahal or Palace of Winds with its unusual front of little windows. Visit the 18th-century astronomical observatory which is a UNESCO World Heritage site, Jantar Mantar, or visit several palaces if you have time in Jaipur. Day 5 – Jaipur Sightseeing and Departure
Day seven: you have another sightseeing in Jaipur on the last day. Handicraft, jewelry, textiles and souvenirs can be shopped at Johari Bazaar or Bapu Bazaar. Go to any other attractions you might have missed the day before or go to local markets to feel the energetic culture of Jaipur. Lunch on the way back to Delhi or onto your next destination.
