Begin with Raj Ghat, a calm memorial to Mahatma Gandhi, then visit a splendid red fort and go to the road of Chandni Chowk where you can try a ride in a rickshaw and taste some authentic local snacks. Afterwards, tour New Delhi and its sights such as India Gate, Rashtrapati Bhavan, Parliament House, Humayun in Tomb and the contemporary Lotus Temple. The day presents an optimal mix between Mughal, colonial and modern architecture. In the evening, go back to your hotel and have dinner there and spend an overnight stay in Delhi.
DAY 2- Delhi to Agra- The Symbol of love- always
Post breakfast, you can then get out of your hotel and head off on your drive to Agra, the city of love. Once you arrive, you should just register at your hotel and rest some time before commencing your sightseeing. Our day is completed by a walk in the Taj Mahal that is considered one of the Seven Wonders of the World and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Taj Mahal is a monument built by the Emperor Shah Jahan in the memory of his favorite wife Mumtaz Mahal and the best time of its admiration is at the sunset when it shines in the gold color due to the marble used in construction of the monument. Once you have absorbed its rare beauty, move on to the next attraction, the Agra Fort, which is an architectural wonder and has enormous palaces, courtyards, and royal chambers. In the evening, visit some local bazaars of Agra with marble products, leather goods and sweets. Dinner and overnight stay in Agra after returning to your hotel.
Day 3: Agra to Jaipur- through Fatehpur Sikri-Into the Pink City
Have breakfast and check out of the hotel and start the day. Before Jaipur, you can visit Fatehpur Sikri; abandoned Mughal capital built by Emperor Akbar on your way. The main attractions of the city are Buland Darwaza, Jama Masjid, Panch Mahal and the shrine of Salim Chishti that portray the Mughal brilliance. Explore this historic gem, then carry on heading to Jaipur. On arrival, get to your hotel, freshen up. Later at night, visit the local markets of Jaipur like Johari Bazaar and Bapu Bazaar and shop! Jaipur is a city of color and colorful things are there to be bought! Then end the day with a mouth watering Rajasthani dinner and stay in Jaipur.
Day 4: Jaipur Sightseeing – Return to Delhi
Following breakfast head out on a full day sight seeing tour of Jaipur, beginning with the grand Amber Fort. Couples and families can avail an elephant/jeep ride to the fort and putter into the Sheesh Mahal (Hall of Mirrors), the Diwan-i-Aam and other royal quarters of the fort. Then take a trip to the City Palace, a magnificent set of courtyards, palaces and museums full of royal paraphernalia. Make way to the Jantar Mantar which is a UNESCO World Heritage property and moves to huge instruments that compute the time and even the movement of stars. Paying a visit to the renowned Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds) is great to take memorable photographs. After completing lunch, start driving back to Delhi, where you will be dropped in the airport or the rail station so that you can go further.
